Biography

I started supporting peace candidates with Dennis Kucinich.  After a year of blogging against the Iraq war, the invasion or Iran and the plight of the Palestinian people in the Gaze Strip and occupied territories I must continue here.

My main work is on a PhD in Sustainable Agriculture where I have a habit of bringing my political beliefs into the arena.  The science is solid, we are destroying our agricultural lands.  Ninety percent of my energy goes into this work.  

But it cannot happen without peace candidates. 

At d4p I was known as AnnaInUtah.  I became famous for an ongoing battle with a neo con on the site because of my relentless postings about preventing war with Iran, recognizing Iran as a legitimate Nation, and recongizing Iranian people as legitimate people of this earth.  While many are content to demonize Iran for various imperfections, I choose to balance this with the rights of the Iranian people to be heard, to work for the betterment of their country and to live in peace.
